A new dual-action fridge slide from TemboTusk combines horizontal extension with vertical drop functionality, making it easier to access portable refrigerators mounted high in SUVs, trucks, and overland rigs.
TemboTusk has announced the release of its Drop Down Fridge Slide, a new addition to its lineup of overland storage and vehicle organization solutions. Designed to improve accessibility to portable refrigerators in taller vehicles, the slide integrates both a traditional sliding mechanism and a vertical drop feature.

The Drop Down Fridge Slide is built to mount inside SUVs, trucks, and overland rigs where fridge height can make access difficult.
Once extended, the platform lowers the fridge down several inches, allowing users to reach contents more easily without climbing or stretching. This is particularly relevant for lifted vehicles or builds with high drawer systems.
Constructed from steel and finished with a durable powder coat, the slide is designed for repeated use in off-road environments.
It uses heavy-duty drawer slides and a gas strut-assisted lowering system to help manage the weight of a fully loaded fridge. The design aims to provide smooth operation while maintaining stability during travel.

The unit is compatible with a range of portable refrigerators and includes multiple mounting points to accommodate different sizes.
Tie-down provisions are integrated into the platform to secure the fridge during transit. TemboTusk also notes that the slide is designed to work alongside common drawer systems and storage layouts.
Installation is intended to be straightforward, with pre-drilled mounting holes and a bolt-in design.
The product is manufactured in the United States and reflects TemboTusk’s continued focus on modular, vehicle-based storage systems for overland travel.

The Drop Down Fridge Slide is now available through TemboTusk’s website and authorized dealers.
