The renowned off-road lighting manufacturer introduces FMVSS 108-compliant headlight replacements that deliver race-proven performance in a road-legal package, with initial applications covering Jeep JL, JT, and JK platforms.

Baja Designs has recently released an all-new lineup of road legal headlights for select vehicles. Building off their iconic LP6 platform, the all-new DOT LP6 is a headlight replacement.

The brand’s initial release contains both universal fitments and vehicle specific solutions for the Jeep Wrangler JL, Gladiator JT, and JK platforms, with more vehicle applications coming at a later date.

The main features of the new DOT LP6 headlights include advanced projector optics, integrated high- and low-beams, and white or amber DRLs.

Most importantly, the DOT LP6 complies with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 (FMVSS 108), ensuring that the product has gone through extensive testing and validation to meet the mandatory performance criterias.

According to the brand, the DOT LP6 was engineered to balance visibility and comfort, delivering lighting that mimics natural daylight and improves contrast at night. This was achieved by designing the low beam to run at 3,480 raw lumens and the high beam at 5,280 raw lumens, whereas other factory LEDs operate at cooler outputs, such as 6000–6500K, which could increase eye fatigue and strain.
