onX Offroad has introduced Location Sharing, a new feature designed to help groups stay connected while traveling on the trail.
The feature allows users to view the real-time location of their group directly within the app’s map interface. Instead of relying on repeated check-ins, radio communication, or waiting at key trail junctions, drivers can monitor where everyone is at a glance.
This is particularly useful for groups that spread out due to varying driving styles, terrain choices, or pace.
Location Sharing is intended to streamline group travel by reducing delays and keeping rides moving more efficiently. Users can take different lines or maintain their own speed without losing awareness of the group’s overall position.
The feature also builds on the app’s existing navigation tools, adding another layer of coordination for off-road travel. Location Sharing is available now to all onX Offroad users as part of the platform’s current feature set.
