The heart of the design is its broad, full-flat-ground blade, which is crafted from CPM MagnaCut—a remarkable particle metallurgy steel that challenges conventional steelmaking wisdom to deliver an impressive synergy of toughness, edge retention, and superior corrosion resistance. Optimized for tactical environments where light discipline is a concern, the blade is cloaked in a durable Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating to reduce its reflective signature.
It is housed in a handle constructed with nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners and contoured black G-10 scales. The liners provide impressive structural strength and form the foundation of the knife’s stout Compression Lock mechanism. The scales are meticulously machined with Spyderco’s signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern to ensure a secure, non-slip grip in even the most demanding circumstances.

ABOUT SPYDERCO
