Built in Golden, Colorado, the new Paragon chassis-mounted camper from Supertramp combines van-style livability with truck-based capability. Starting at $189,000, it’s engineered for extended travel with standing room, enclosed bathing, and a three-way convertible rear dinette on a Ford F-350 chassis.
Supertramp Campers today announced Paragon, a new chassis-mounted truck camper designed as a replacement for both traditional slide-in campers and full expedition builds while providing a truck-based alternative to adventure vans at a similar price point.
Built on a bed-delete Ford F-350 8-foot chassis, Paragon is engineered to deliver long-range capability, interior livability, and serviceability without the platform limitations common to some van conversions. The platform targets a dry weight range of approximately 9,000 to 11,500

pounds, depending on the truck and camper configuration. Paragon has an introductory starting price of $189,000, with pricing expected to increase slightly after launch.
“Megatron is a purpose-built expedition platform, but it’s not the right answer for everyone,” said Keith Panich, founder of Supertramp Campers. “Paragon delivers the standing room, enclosed bathing, and dedicated storage people often look for in vans, while remaining practical for everyday use and built for long-distance travel without asking owners to give up off-road capability or long-term durability.”
Paragon is manufactured entirely at Supertramp’s facility in Golden, Colorado, using the company’s in-house 100% composite construction process. The camper features a seven-foot interior ceiling height, more than 120 cubic feet of interior storage, a north/south king bed, a convertible dinette, a full cab pass-through, and an optional wet bath — features frequently cited by extended-travel buyers as priorities for day-to-day living.

The convertible rear dinette is a new idea by Supertramp to offer their beloved L-shaped couch, a full dinette, or even a full-size bed, all in the same camper. It consists of a flip-up side booth and a cushion that can be placed on top of the table in the dinette area. With this design, Supertramp says that you can sleep four people comfortably in Paragon.
Supertramp selected proven, serviceable components with an emphasis on nationwide support and long-term ownership, including Victron Energy electrical systems, Truma Combi heating and hot water, and Isotherm refrigeration. Paragon comes with 270 amp-hours of heated Battle Born lithium batteries standard and available configurations up to 1,080 amp-hours. Charging sources include up to 100A DC-to-DC charging, 660 watts of roof-mounted solar standard (expandable to 1,460w with external solar blankets), and 100A shore power. A 3,000-watt inverter is standard equipment, and air conditioning will be offered as an option.
Supertramp Campers, known for innovative interior layouts, continues that approach with Paragon’s three-way convertible rear dinette. The design uses a flip-down couch mechanism paired with a tabletop cushion, allowing the space to transition between a rear dinette, an L-shaped couch, and a full-size bed within the same camper.

Paragon’s design direction was also influenced by changes within the company itself. Owners Keith and Kelsey Panich, a husband-and-wife team, are starting a family and sought to build a camper that supports long-term ownership rather than short-term travel scenarios. The resulting layout emphasizes interior space, flexibility, and comfort intended to evolve as needs change over time.
“We wanted to create something that works for more than a single phase of life,” Panich said. “Paragon reflects how people actually use their vehicles day in and day out, and how families can grow into a space rather than outgrow it.”
Paragon’s bed-delete architecture lowers the center of gravity while preserving interior volume Supertramp partnered with Carli Suspension, one of the biggest names in off-road suspension design, to develop custom-valved shocks, enhancing on- and off-road composure while maintaining the integrity of the factory Ford F-350 suspension platform.
The fully finished production model will make its first public appearance later this year at Overland Expo Flagstaff.
