Rugged Radios is proud to announce the official launch of the Taco Truck Sweepstakes, a one-of-a-kind fundraising campaign to support Friends of Oceano Dunes in their fight to keep California’s last remaining coastal off-road park open to the public.
At the heart of the sweepstakes is the Rugged Taco Truck, a custom-built Polaris General XP4 valued at over $60,000. This fully decked-out off-road machine is more than trail-capable—it’s taco-ready.
Featuring a Camp Chef grill, Dometic electric cooler, dual-radio system, custom serape-upholstered PRP seats, long-travel suspension, and parts from more than a dozen of the industry’s best brands, it’s the ultimate conversation starter on wheels.
Three additional winners will receive premium off-road gear prize packs valued at over $2,000 each, featuring products from Rugged Radios, Front Runner Outfitters, KC Hilites, Desert Squadron, WARN, and Buggy Whip.
The sweepstakes is now live and will run through November 8, 2025, with winners announced during a live event and BBQ hosted at Rugged Radios HQ in Arroyo Grande.
“We wanted to build something that stops people in their tracks, not just because it looks cool, but because it supports something important,” said Dustin Ensign, Director of Marketing at Rugged Radios. “FoOD has been fighting to keep access open for over 23 years, and this year is critical. This sweepstakes is our way of helping push that mission forward.”
Friends of Oceano Dunes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has led the charge to preserve public access to Oceano Dunes SVRA, also known as Pismo Beach. The park is facing permanent closure in 2024. With legal action currently underway, every entry into the sweepstakes helps fund the fight to overturn the Coastal Commission’s restrictions and secure permanent access through ongoing litigation.
