16,000+ Attendees, 376 Exhibitors, 92 Instructors, 312 Classes, 47% New Attendees. What can go right?
Turns out, quite a bit. After the show closed on Saturday, exhibitors gathered for a happy hour and raffle benefiting the Overland Expo Foundation. Over $16,000 was raised, which will be used to protect trail access, educate new overlanders, and support various projects throughout the coming year.
Founded in 2009 by Jonathan and Roseann Hanson, Overland Expo was expanded by Lodestone Events to encompass four venues by adding Overland Expo Mountain West in 2020 and Overland Expo Pacific Northwest (PNW) in July 2022.
Following the successful launch of these new shows and the growth of the overall outdoor market, Lodestone was then acquired by Emerald Holdings in January 2023.
OVERLAND EXPO PNW
The 2024 edition of Overland Expo PNW was held on the weekend of June 28-30 at the Deschutes County Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon. Overlanders and outdoor enthusiasts gathered from all over the country to celebrate awesome rigs, innovative products, eat delicious food prepared in the great outdoors and enjoy the fellowship of one another.
As an official media partner of the 2024 edition of Overland Expo PNW, OVR’s booth was perfectly positioned at the main entrance to report on the event’s most important aspects.
While attending an Overland Expo in person is really the best way to enjoy the grand scale of the show, we present five image galleries that encompass well over 200 images from the 2024 show. Swipe through the many pictures of Buyers, Vendors & Products, Vehicles, People, and Dogs that we took at the show in the galleries below.
BUYERS
By mid-Saturday, we noticed people happily carrying and hauling out fantastic show specials from the many vendors at the show. While we were busy answering questions and covering the show, we managed to capture a fraction of the buyers heading back to their basecamp with new toys in hand. The image gallery clearly shows the attendees were in a buying mood.
VENDORS & PRODUCTS
Out of the 376 exhibitors at Deschutes County Expo Center, we captured over 70 images of vendors, and products. The weekend was relaxing, the weather was epic and everyone was in a good mood. Enjoy the image galley below.
VEHICLES
During our coverage of Overland Expo West, we realized we didn’t have enough images of the rigs. This time, we made sure to capture a variety of vehicles, including vans, Jeeps, Broncos, Subarus, and a notable number of older Land Cruisers, as well as the new INEOS Grenadier.
PEOPLE
None of this would be possible without the hard working show staff and all of the passionate employees representing these brands. They were available to answer questions, inform and educate. From show attendees to show management, from exhibitors to buyers, enjoy the weekend’s emotions.
DOGS
No coverage is complete without our four-legged friends. Here are some of the pets wandering the show with their best friends.
