The Las Vegas Convention Center buzzed with automotive innovation as SEMA 2025 opened its doors to the public for the second year, featuring standout reveals from Jeep and Toyota alongside OVR’s successful interactive display with Hankook Tire.
SEMA 2025 brought its usual mix of new technology, standout builds, and crowds that filled every corner of the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year felt especially energized, thanks in part to SEMA’s continued push to make the show more accessible.
For the second time, the doors opened on Friday to the general public, giving non-industry enthusiasts a chance to see the vehicles, gear, and innovation that typically stay behind the trade-only curtain.
OVR returned to the event with an interactive twist. Partnering with Hankook Tire, we hosted a people’s choice activity that let attendees vote for their favorite Hankook-featured vehicle using their smartphones.
The response was strong all week, with lines forming around the display as soon as the show opened. Hankook and OVR awarded prizes to participating voters, including multiple sets of Dynapro tires, Canyon Coolers all-weather backpack coolers, FMS radio-controlled trucks, and a range of Hankook merchandise.
On the show floor, OEM displays drew constant traffic. Mopar and Jeep showed-off plenty of customized off-roaders and Toyota also turned heads with a retro-modern twist: a clean 60-series Land Cruiser fitted with the Tundra’s 3.4-liter twin-turbo V-6. The swap showcased how vintage platforms continue to influence modern engineering choices, especially in the overland and off-road space.
Across the halls and outdoor displays, the usual mix of high-end fabrication, concept parts, and new product launches kept cameras clicking. From overland builds loaded with new gear to performance platforms showing the latest in suspension and aero, SEMA 2025 offered plenty for attendees to study up close.
For industry veterans and first-time Friday visitors alike, this year’s show delivered a clear message: innovation in the automotive world is running strong, and the enthusiast community is more engaged than ever.
